URGENT REQUEST

 

As many of you are aware from the news this weekend, the state of Tennessee has experienced historic flooding. Fox News, CNN, You Tube, and many other media outlets have shared pictures, videos, and news stories of the devastation caused by this flooding. I have been in contact with the Tennessee  District Superintendent, Nashville First church of the Nazarene, and our D.S. Dr. Mark Berry about this flooding and how we as a church may respond. Currently we are looking for volunteers to help with the mud out of homes impacted. Numerous homes have sustained flooding, mudding out is the first step is helping to dry out and clean the home. • Let Mike Inscho know of the availability of your team. Begin gathering your workers together.

• Prepare your church for the next disaster. Begin to organize a emergency response team. Dr. Berry, Mike Inscho, and Rev. Dave Shirer are qualified for training of Emergency Response Teams and Local Church Response. You can find their numbers in the District Journal..
